It's with a heavy heart that we report that a true champion of children, family, faith and adoption has lost his youngest child to a tragic accident. Steven Curtis Chapman's youngest daughter was accidently run over by her brother driving the family vehicle. It breaks your heart to know the pain they are experiencing. If you aren't aware, his song, When Love Takes you Home, is linked on our blog and has made me cry over, and over, and over, both before we knew Zachary and certainly since we brought him home. There is something about adoption that links people and it is very hard to explain. It's kind of like we are one big family.....it's weird to be connected to thousands of people you have never met yet you KNOW what they have been through.
