What a day! REFERRAL DAY!!

There really aren't words to describe today. Since this is a blog, words are kind of important so I will give it a shot. We were SURE, absolutely sure, that referrals were not coming today. I even left my cell phone at my desk for a couple of hours - unattended!!! At around 1:45 the call came in. I was on another call but saw the area code where my agency is. Needless to say, my caller got dumped and my world changed forever. I conferenced in Q so we could be on the call together. "Congratulations, you have a little boy and he's adorable" I don't think we said anything. A boy!?! We couldn't believe it. We didn't request either gender, but we were so sure we would have a girl. It took HOURS to get those pictures, but as you can see, he is the most adorable child with a sweet smile and bright shining eyes. "Cloud Nine" doesn't quite describe the ride we are on right now. So, all my little girl clothes are packed in a bag off to my neice and I am ready, ready, ready to become the mother of TWO of the cutest boys in the world. RJ is going to love being a big brother (except for the sharing part). A new countdown begins....travel. More on that as we get information. Until then, please meet....

Oh my! HOW CUTE!!! He's too adorable! Congratulations!

We got the referral yesterday too, at around the same time. What a day! We're still up there on cloud 9: drop by and say hello! :o)))
And our daughter was born dec. 24th, 2006!

You mentionned waiting for hours: our agency is making us wait a week, because they want to get the medical file reviewed first, so hours wasn't so bad. We'll survive with lots of red wine...;o)

Wow, Meg... Congratulations on your wonderfully precious new little BOY! Don't worry about the sharing thing... they NEVER share well until they're older... and then it only comes GRUDGINGLY :) Love, Ashley, Jason, and the girls.

OK, I am so tearing up in my office right now reading all of this. I am so incredibly happy for my favorite little family. I am so glad that we are both going to have two boys. We can share the tough times and great times together. Don't worry about sharing. It doesn't happen, and it isn't a big deal. I have TONS of stuff that I can give you. And Will soon. As soon as my boy Zachary gets here I am so coming for a visit. Him and Luke are going to be pals. I would say Landry, but he is too wild to sit and play baby games!!!! Love you guys! Kelly J

Bear with us...

Hello friends, family, strangers, etc. Welcome to our poor attempt at a blog. If we were to hire a 3rd grader, it would look much better - but here it is. It is our hope that while we are in China (someday..sigh) we can update our 'blog'to keep our loved ones informed during our journey. Until then...
